Education Consultant
Texas
NCA is searching for an Education Consultant based in Texas to work collaboratively with families, trustees, medical providers, and school teams in general and special education capacities. Candidates must be willing to advocate for the individual student's best interests to maximize learning potential while working with public and private school entities.

Requirements
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in the field of education required
- Possess a strong understanding of IDEA
- Experience in the special education processes, including navigating referrals, evaluations, IEPs, and NOREP/PWNs
- Experience with behavioral interventions preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively and in a timely manner through both written and verbal expression
- Flexibility to travel to attend client school meetings
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Possess a willingness to collaborate with others in a respectful and efficient manner to reach desirable outcomes for clients
- Ability to problem solve and research potential solutions while addressing educational programming that may be affected by medical needs
- Strong computer skills, including video conferencing
Experienced Field Nurse Case Manager
Chicago, IL
NCA is in search of an experienced Field Nurse Case Manager based in any of the regions above who will be responsible for case management services responsive to special needs and elder client care and quality of life challenges. This position requires collaboration with the primary family caregivers, attorneys, financial planners and trustees that are also serving the client.
This is a salaried position with competitive pay, excellent benefits, and a flexible work from home schedule.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required, CCM or CRRN preferred
- Minimum of 5 years clinical Nursing experience – experience in field case management or workers’ compensation case management, preferred
- Experience with third party benefits – health insurance, Medicaid, Social Security, Developmental Disability services
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
- Highly motivated self-starter comfortable working in a virtual company/office, with solid time management and organization skills
- Proven ability to collaborate as necessary to accomplish goals and work through conflicts
- Ability to research and develop solutions to challenges presented by the client
- Excellent customer service skills
- Overnight travel required regionally 1-2 times per month and occasional nationwide travel

Entry Level Field Nurse Case Manager

NCA is in search of an Entry Level Field Nurse Case Manager based in any of the regions above who will be responsible for case management services responsive to special needs and elder client care and quality of life challenges. This position requires collaboration with the primary family caregivers, attorneys, financial planners and trustees that are also serving the client. Training will be provided on case management best practices with the goal of attaining a Certified Case Manager credential.

NCA is in search of an experienced Certified Life Care Planner. This position requires collaboration with attorneys, both plaintiff and defense, rehabilitation and vocational experts, economic experts, and families and individuals with special needs. Additionally, this position will consult with our special needs nurse consultants and education consultants.

Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- CLCP or CNLCP required
- CCM or CRRN required
- CRC certification is a plus (but not required)
- 5 years’ experience in Life Care Planning
